Hi, I’m INci.
I’m a German-born, trilingual ICF-accredited career development & life coach with 9 years of professional experience in one of the world’s most successful and forward-thinking tech companies. I’m based in Paris but at home in the world.
Throughout my tenure at Meta (formerly known as Facebook), I've embraced various roles, including sales, product marketing and business education & training. I’ve had the privilege of closely working with some of the most talented and brightest people and to have gotten to experience some truly exceptional managers. Working closely with major advertisers has given me invaluable insights and expertise in navigating that world. Currently, I lead a team of 5 exceptional individuals, leveraging my strong leadership abilities.
As a native German speaker fluent in English and French, I seamlessly transition between languages and appreciate the importance of cultural nuances. My academic journey took me to France for my master's degree, and I've had the opportunity to work in Dublin, Dubai, and Paris, working with people from all over the world and immersing myself in different cultures along the way.
Coaching unexpectedly found me in 2016 when I had to step into a management role during my manager's paternity leave. It was then that I discovered my natural talent for guiding and supporting others, ultimately helping them achieve their "Aha Moments" and move closer to their goals. Witnessing the transformative power of coaching has become my greatest passion.
My Approach
SPARKING INSIGHT & REAL LIFE TOOLS THAT WORK
We Germans are known for being rational. When I took singing lessons, my adorable Irish teacher used an analogy to try to explain to me how I should control my breath. I tried. But didn’t get it. Being the smart woman that she was, she understood quickly and gave me a scientific explanation. And almost immediately she had set me and my breath free like a wild gust of wind. It’s the same with coaching for me. I need to know why something works and that’s why I’m fascinated with Neuroscience and completed a 27-hour course course in “Applied Neuroscience and Brain Health” with Dr Sarah McKay in 2021.
Having been immersed in the Silicon Valley mindset for over 9 years thanks to my career at Meta, it seemed only natural to me to bring that kind of innovative approach to my coaching practice as well. That’s why I decided to become a certified “Designing Your Life” coach in November 2023. “Designing Your Life” is a methodology developed by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans, and is taught in a class of the same name at Stanford University.
The self-improvement space is ever-evolving, and sometimes people find new ways of working before they’re proven. Take hypnotherapy, meditation, or the power of breath work for example. Considered “woo-woo” just a couple of years ago, researchers now have actual proof that these things work and that they have a positive impact on your nervous system. I do strongly believe in the mind-body connection and in the power of energy we radiate as human beings, but I promise you we won’t do any crystal alignments or astrological charts. All I ask of my clients is to keep an open mind. When we work on creating a healthier, positive mindset by examining your limiting beliefs people can sometimes be too tense to be able to move forward in the moment. In these instances, we might take a step back and with your permission do a guided mediation or a visualization technique.
Most importantly, you are the one creating all the change. As a coach my job is simply guiding you in your own journey: your progress will only ever be as fast and substantial as the amount of time and work you’re willing to put in.
